Autodesk Inventor 8 Essentials by Banach, Jones, and Kalameja (covers only the Inventor module of AIS, not MDT and Autocad). Good as a reference and the Autodesk Inventor Certified Expert exam is based on this book.

For beginning learner modeling tutorials I prefer Using Autodesk Inventor 6 by Cheng (not much has changed since v6).
