I have an inventory of .ipt, .iam, & .idw files in my library.
I would like to see if i am clear to delete a file without breaking the link another assembly or drawing might need.
I don't want to delete the file and then later find out that my other work was referencing that drawing.
Is there any way to check it's properties to see if it is being used?
Thanks

Do you have vault? That has a "Where used" function.
Understand that if you have a part that is used within an assembly and you just up and delete it, when you call up that assembly it will prompt you that it can't find it and want it to be resolved. Same hold true if you delete an assembly that is used somewhere. Drawings not so much.
What version of Inventor are you using?
