Once upon a time, when I created a drawing in Inventor and went to export it to AutoCAD Mechanical, I had the option to make it create layers for each part. This worked extremely well once I got the drawing into AutoCAD. Now, for some reason, I can't find that option anywhere. Was it removed or am I just not seeing it? I seem to remember that it was among the options you found when you opened the save as or save a copy as dialog box and clicked the options button at the bottom.
Ha! I knew as soon as I posted a question (this has been bugging me for days) I'd stumble across it. Sure enough - you have to check the box to customize your dwg, then those options appear.
