It seems that after I have been workin on an assembly for a while when I close the final file inventor crashes and I get that lovely msg.. The one that Says Inventor caused an error and needs to close. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have any Tips regarding this problem. Luckily I have not lost any info yet (knock on wood) but that doesnt mean I wont.

I was seeing power exits after closing the last file for a while. I
noticed that it happened after I had an assembly and 6 to 10 supporting
files with a few IDWs open as well. I upgraded to later video drivers
(4345) and have not noticed the problem.
Yep........get it here to from time to time, mainly when I get carried away and have a lot of different files open at the same time, I just work around the problem, Open close save.
Are you closeing Inventor or each file one at a time? I have found that when I have multi files open and have been working for a long time Inv will fail to close properly unless each file is closed.
I had the same problem. I think it had to do with the fastener library (the old one on the tools menu) I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it's working fine.
