Inventor 8 newsgroup survey

Some of you have asked, "When will the Inventor 8 newsgroup start?"



Good question. Before I answer I would like to collect some opinions from
the group. It has been over a year now since the Inventor newsgroup was
split based on product release (R6, R7.).



I am interested in you answers to the following questions.



1.. Do you like separate product release newsgroups?
2.. Do you think that a current group (R8) and a legacy group (<8) would
be a positive change? This would mean that we would go to:
a.. Autodesk.Inventor.8
b.. Autodesk.Inventor.legacy

2) Previous
3) Pro
4) Lagesy

I have no reason to look back once I get the courage to jump to the latest
release. I want the message count to be as small as possible to save time
so would rather not have the extra load from Pro messages.

I made the jump to 8 very quickly because of the terrific advances made
possible by the 3D spline and the relatively few new problems.
