Inventor - 3D modelling without sketching? Possible?

Is there a way to create 3d objects in Inventor without having to 'sketch' in 2d first? Such as draw a vertical 3Dcylinder simply by defining its radius and height, without extruding?

Inventor 2013 does have a primitives feature that will generate a cylinder for you based off inputs. However essentially it is still making a 2D sketch and extruding it. Inventor is a history based 3D CAD program. However I believe Inventor fusion or Alias would be able to do want you want without giving you that sketch-extrusion structure. Just a thought.

Actually these "primatives" have been in Inventor's Content Center for a few releases now.

I want to say since 2010???
