I am using the student version of Inventor 2014, it worked fine until I installed MS Office 2013. First it wouldn't start, so I uninstalled/reinstalled, still no help. Eventually, I reformatted and reloaded windows, installed Inventor 2014. Now when I try to open an existing part or try to create a new part, it hangs where the ribbon at the bottom says "Loading FeatureCatalog ..." Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a full version of Office 2013?
Also have you installed ALL of the updates/Service Packs/Patches for both Inventor and WIndows and Office?
Do you have an anti-virus that was on when you were installing?
I had no antivirus running when I installed Inventor. I am running Office Professional Plus 2013. After I updated Office 2013 and applied update 3 to Inventor SP1, it works now. Thank you for your help!
