Inventor 2014 SLOW! "Diagnostics" copy & paste - Need help!!

Okay, I'm having a lot of different issues it seems like...

First off, I believe I'm having issues with Inventor 2014, even more so than 2013.

Even doing a very simple sketch, Inventor seems to 'hang' and the little "Windows 7 loading ring" is on the screen, meanwhile, in the upper left-hand corner of my Inventor window, the (Not Responding) window header is visibile...

I go to the win7 Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections > Local Area Connection... "Disable", then all of the slowness and hang-ups in Inventor, goes away, and everything is super snappy, just as it should be... I then "Enable" the network adapter again, it seems to be doing good for a few minutes or so of normal operation, then boom... back to more hang-ups and epic slowness. I can't for the life of me figure this out.

What info is needed for someone to be able to help me with this issue? Ps, our IT guys are worthless when it comes to Inventor stuff... They usually come to me for help 😕

So I'm here asking for someone, anyone's help...

I've pasted my recent "Inventor Diagnostics" clipboard copy-pasta, for everyone to browse over, if that might be of any help... But until then, I'm pretty much stuck working disconnected from the network and the interwebs, relying on all of my work e-mails to come through to me on my iPhone/iPad, here beside me at my desk... lol

Help! 🙂

I am having the exact same problem. Has anyone found a solution for this issue?

Just curious are you working on a network with a virtualised server?

We had super crappy save times too. have that issue sorted by moving the data off the virtual server ( Server 2012 Essentials) onto the base server. Save times are fixed but still having lag/hang problems!

Help!

I came on the forums for the exact same reason. 2014 is running really slow on my machine but the 3 other machines are running fine. Even creating a simple tube take 20 seconds.... it took 2-3 before. I disconnected from my network completely and still no improvement. All other programs run fine.

Please help!

Oh yeh forgot to mention. As a workaround I have been using a 'Semi-isolated Workspace'. So you can still use the network for email, internet etc. Inventor seems to behave itself with data checked out locally to the pc. Checking everything back in is a pain and I forget sometimes. I have also had a few version issues with very complex assemblies with ilogic LOD.

And still no suggestions from an Autodesk rep..... Solidworks is looking like a better alternative every release.

I have the same problem. Inventor hangs up for about 30 seconds now and then. I can´t really see any pattern for the behavior.

What I have noticed is that the CPU is always at 12-14 % everytime this happends. And the program which is using all CPU is Inventor. The network connections in the Task manager doesn´t show any activity at all. The files are checked out so the computer shouldnt talk to the server. It sholudn´t be any network issue.

What happends?

Is there any properties which I could affect in Inventor for solving this?

Sorry, is this the Autodesk forum?

Hellooo, Autodesk??

the company should change their name to AutoCheck, because that is all they care about.

But let me try to answer the question:

The fix is to upgrade to the latest version of Inventor - 2014 is no longer supported.  Please try 2016, and if you are still having issues, let us know!

smh.

When did Autodesk stop supporting 3 versions back?

This is a user-to-user forum, not the Autodesk Support.

Have you contacted your VAR?

What level of support did you purchase?
