Inventor 2013 and Mcafee

My computer started running ridiculously slow a few weeks back. I found out the IT people were asked to set up Mcafee virus scan on an ePO server so the virus scan program is continually running. Is there a way to make inventor work again with the virus scan continually running?

Have them set the "Exclussion" list for all Inventor files: *.ipt, *.iam, *.idw, *.ipn

 

This should help.
