I am running an analysis on a cannister that will operate at 3500 meters depth sw. I was wondering wether Inventor 2012 only calculates the stress due to pressure or if it takes into account/predicts failure due to buckling.
If inventor does not take buckling into account can one introduce this into the simulation in any way (I have been told that one can introduce a small curvature or deviation to simulate buckling).
