When I am inserting spur gears as features using a shaft with a cylinder equal to da, the execution of spur gears is very slow. Each time I want to modify the gears I have to wait a couple of minutes. Inserting them as components is fast, but I cant combine them with shafts when I want to draw a pinion gear and make shaft computation. Is this phenomenon normal? I am using Inventor 2008.
