Importing Solid Works parts in with material properties
I have some CAD that was originally made using Solid Works, that has mass properties attached to it. I want to be able to import this into Inventor (I have Inventor Pro 2014 with SP1), and keep the mass properties so that I can assemble it with other parts that were made with inventor and find the Weight and CG. I have tried many different things to no avail. Can Inventor do this? is there an external program that can do this? Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.
