When I try to insert an bitmap image into a sketch, I get the following
error message:

!Could not insert Object.

(IV R6, NT40 SP6a, Dell Precision 330.)

roger,

Are you using Insert>Object or
Insert>Image?

What program is set as ole bmp server
(mspaint.exe)?

I am able to do it pretty
handily, using Insert>Image, with PaintShop Pro 7, but I think MSPaint is
most reliable.

darvin,

I'm using the button on the sketch toolbar (image)
to insert the image.

Sean,

thankyou for your reply. I changed the registry and
that solved the problem.
