IV9 Rectangular Pattern with Excel Spreadsheet

I have a excel file linked to an IPT with lots of parameters.
Of the parameters in the XLS file is Per_Row & Per_Column.
On a rectangular pattern, It allows me to use the linked parameters with the actual spacing distance from the xls file. What i can NOT link to is my number of rows and number of columns parameters.

I allows me to click the arrow in the rows (direction 1), list parameters and even input the linked parameter, but it turns red and wont take the parameters.

p.s. I have made sure things like dashes and spaces are all removed in the xls file.

Am I doing something wrong or is it even possible???

Thank you,
Steve Harrity

What is the type of units in the parameters dialog for these? They need to
be unitless. Try divinding by /1in in the array dialog and see what
happens.
