How can you use the frequency modal analysis in FEA, and the dynamic simulation to determine deflection and forces present for the acceleration over time, in order to get an equivalent static force to use in the stress analysis to determine peak stresses? (obviously some manual calcs would be needed to do this)
If this is possible I would then think you could compare this stress with charpy impact material tests based on energy conservation to determine material failure?
