are working with Inventor on a Novell network where the software resides on
the PC and the drawing files reside on the server. Our IT dept has noticed
that once we open an INV file the pings to the server grows exponentially even
if we are not doing anything to the files, INV is just sitting there. It only
drops when we close the assemblies. His concern is that we only have 3 people
on INV now and we are using upto 15% of the server, what will happen when we
put all 17 people on inventor. I would think our server will be maxed out.
Does anyone have any thoughts.
Thank you!
