INV 2015 ray-tracing problems

Well no more white speckels (so far) but now I get solid black faces that shouldn't be there..

For good measure, here's the entire part attached in IV2016 format.

I had to fixed a broken reference in the last revolution because of deleting the loft, but it remained without errors.

There are quite a few of such "bad" models here.
Some created in Inv2010 some in 2012... (I personally don't see any pattern).
I wonder if there any more reliable tools to see the model "badness" (some kind of zebra analisis)?
You know ...It's a hard task to persudae user to fix model when you yourself not sure it is a deal worth extra time.

Well, for individual parts (.ipt) you do have a "zebra" analysis on the "inspect" tab.

But i have to ask, are these parts causing you problems?
I raytraced both of the parts you posted (with bad bodies) and i didn't see any distortions.
(Again, in IV2016. it's a different render engine from previous versions so that might also have something to do with it.)

If they're rendering properly then i wouldn't worry too much about the bad bodies.

No. I don't sure those IPTs cause any problems.
On the other hand some users here do complain on Inventor crashing...
