INV 2010 hangs on installation

INV 2010 hangs on installation when I'm asked to switch to disc 2. It just hangs, and does it every time. I had the same problem with INV 2009. I imagine I'll have to resolve this the same way I did with INV 2009, which was to copy each disk to the hard drive and install direct from there rather than from the DVDs.

I've been fighting with this for almost an hour, so I'm wrapping it up for the day.

I have to admit I find this troublesome, especially as this is a recurring problem for me two releases in a row. Maybe it's me. Am I the only one with this problem?

I had a couple ofcustomers last year that had a similar
issue:

"Cannot install after Disk1"

We traced this issue down to registry issues in
XP.

The following solution is from Apple, but it worked in our
cases.
