IDF Files

Our PCB department is comtemplating the idea of constructing 3D printed circuit baord assemblies! I am using Inventor Routed Systems 2010. Does Inventor support IDF files? If so, which IDF version does IV support version 2.0 or 3.0?

Hi KevinPinks7697, 

 

Your version of Inventor can open IDF 2.0 and 3.0. To do so use the Open tool and then use the Files of Type drop down to look for IDF Board files. If you go to the help file and search IDF, you'll find a bit more information on translating IDF files.
