I didn't know this could be done!

I wanted to move some hole features and a circular hole pattern from one
part to another. So I selected the features I wanted, RMB, hit copy then
opened the other part, RMB, hit past on the surface I wanted to place it on,
and I got an ifeature looking display for placing the features. That's neat!
I had no idea. I'm glad I tried.

Sorry if this is old news.

Nice one. I never thought of trying it.

Thanks for sharing.

Copy / Paste works in a lot of areas, it is worth trying in different
scenarios like sketched symbols, placing parts and iParts in assemblies,
title blocks, sketches, iFeatures etc.

Something you will always hear me saying, "When in doubt right mouse", this
usually has something useful.

Don't forget about CNTRL>C and CNTRL>V sometimes you can't RMB but you can
still copy/paste.

But ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS save before you paste. This in the past was one of the most ornery aspects of IV for me.

I suppose that it is always a good idea to paste but I have never had a
problem with it.
