I butt Weld zero distance between parts

Hi,

I want to make an "I butt weld" at two adjacent parts (b=0 distance of two part is zero).

I can not make this. How can I generate this weld type?

Just use the Cosmetic weld (produces/leaves an Orange Line). Inventor can't produce a weld with legs in the same plane. Think of it as trying to do a flat weld without any penetration and no gap.

Inventor can't do a Convex weld, only flat face and doesn't understand penetration.

Hi Blair,

Thank you for your quick response. Can you send any basic example?

Before your reply, I would have used fake parts for generate distance between fake part & orijinal part. Then I would have hiden the fake part. I will try your solution, but this sounds better.

thanks in advance.

The Orange lines are the Cosmetic Weld, it replicates the volume and mass of a regular weld. It can be placed on any Edge.
