How to sketch onto a surface curved in 2 dimensions? [Example shown]

Lets say I want to make a 3D projection of a cirlce from the face of a mobius strip. I can make the mobius strip, but how do I make a projection from it since at any point. I have a file, and an example I would like to create.

Thanks so much.

Hmm. Your Bend part solution is looking strange. I'm in doubt, if it's ok.

Therefore I tried to use an equation curve. In Wikipedia I found this:

With  0\leq \alpha < 2\pi and -1\leq r \leq 1

Now you can create edge curves for the strip, one with r=-1, the other with r=1. Alpha is changed to t, range between 0° and 360°.

Well, this works ok from 0° to 331°. But what's going on with tmax between 332° and 360°?

😉 Can you hear me, Johnson?
