How to set "All Files" by default in the File Open window?

Hello

Is it possible Inventor File Open window "File Type" will be set to "All Files" by default?

It is so annoying switching it every time working with exported files.

Wow you must use a lot of exported files.. "All files" would annoy the heck out of me personally.

There might be a registry hack but I'm not aware of where it would be if at all.

I can't stand the fact that Autocad drawings are included in the default filter.

Not so much but I do not think you would keep all your files in the one folder... Even more - "All files" will show that is not all clean in your folder as it seems to with filter on.

I am also opening my Excel parameters files through this Inventor open file dialog by "Open Width" since there is much more annoing going to them through the browser

I agree with mcgyvr.  Whoever included the AutoCAD files in the filter should be shot.  If I want to work on an AutoCAD file I use AutoCAD.

Not possible to change the "default" it seems..

Whatever you choose seems to stay persistent though..

But thats it..
