How to model a boat body

Hey,

I would like to create  3D model of a boat attached. I'm running out of ideas how to create front part of the boat. Any suggestion ?

Thanks...

Create with similar technique used for back and then cut away.

Do not try to model that geometry in finished form - it will take multiple steps.

I'm still trying 🙂 Does anyone have any suggestion or how to approach to such a complex geometry in inventor ?

I don't know if this helps.

With any complex geometry it helps if you look at the problem as a sculpter would a piece of wood or marble, start with the basic shape and then select the best tool (in this case Loft) to remove what you do not want. Consider also the actual manufacturing processes used to actually construct a ships hull.

Here attached a sample I made using loft and splines.

The 3d sketch projection makes it a bit tricky to manipulate.

CMGIraudy's model is probably simpler and more efficient to manipulate.

Thank you all very much, this was really helpful. When I'm done I'll post my masterpiece 🙂
