I want to create a macro to do something which has sequence. For example, in Inventor Drawing, I usually use Dimension/Dimension Type/Diameter, then Options/Single Dimension Line. Is there any way to create a shortcut key which when I press, then choose the circle and it'll show the diameter?
while I haven't tried creating a macro myself, have you tried searching Help on "macro"?
Inv 2014 does bring up some instructions which appear to mention the VB editor.
You'll probably be able to create a macro to actually place a diameter dimension, but if you're looking for some sort of informational tool to just display the diameter, I'm not sure you'll be able to create that.
