to all and "helloooo to Autodesk".
Have not used "Auto Dimension" in
the past, so thought I would give it some use. Guess I found out why I never
used it. It causes Inventor to CRASH. Some kind of memory error.
See
PDF in CF for screen dump.

Think I got it.
I created a workplane off the face of the
part, "Redefined sketch" to that workplane, then did an "autodimension".
It solved all but 3 dimensions/constraints (but no crash). I then
projected the center hole and then did "autodimension" again. Now all
dimensions/constraints were solved.
Clicked "return" and NO CRASH!
WHY???
I'll never be able to figure it out. In any event your help
with "redefine sketch" should help me in the future.
Regards and
THANKS!
Don A 🙂
