Hi Rick,
You can calculate the value of upward force on lift block with "unknown force" functionality. Before invoking this command, please disable the imposed motion for cylindrical:2 joint and lock revolution degree of freedom for planar joint:9 since there are 2 degrees of freedom for this mechanism but "unknown force" only works under kinematic chains with one degree of mobility.
Then you should specify the joint you want to dive to have a succession of static equilibriums and its final position, like the translational degree of freedom of cylindrical joint 2.
