Hello All: Newbie question?

I am new to Inventor, with some solid background in programming.

My Question is: I will be using the VBA in Inventor to read a text file from an outside program. The text file contains items and their X,Y, co-ordinates. Is there a command or such methods that i can use in VBA to call Inventor to create the objects ?

Their Z coordinate doesn't matter
