Hatching, Materials, and Section Views

I just got Autodesk Inventor LT 2010. I want to create sectional views that show hatching for different features of a given part. For example, I extrude a cylinder, which intersects an extruded cube. But when I choose sectional view in drawing mode, the hatching shows the part as if it was one material. I have not been able to figure out how to make each of the two extrusions different materials, to yield distinct hatching for each. Here is a problem I encountered.

(1) I draw a circle and extrude it to form a cylinder.
(2) At the top of the Menu Bar it says "As Material"
Problem: I think it means "As Color" (surface color); it does not mean "As Material" (e.g., ABS plastic)

How do I choose different materials for each of the features I draw for a given part?

Hatching does not work the same way that materials do in
AutoCAD. Hatching is controlled by Drawing Styles, and there are limited hatch
patterns available. As to physical material selection, see the attached
video.

Autodesk LT is specifically designed to not support
assembly design.  This means that we only permit one material assignment
per part file.  The material hatch pattern mapping in drawing manager was
designed to work with assemblies in this respect.  If you want to assign a
different hatch pattern on a per-feature basis, you'll have to change those
hatch patterns individually after the section view creation.
