just got Autodesk Inventor LT 2010. I want to create sectional views that show
hatching for different features of a given part. For example, I extrude a
cylinder, which intersects an extruded cube. But when I choose sectional view
in drawing mode, the hatching shows the part as if it was one material. I have
not been able to figure out how to make each of the two extrusions different
materials, to yield distinct hatching for each. Here is a problem I
encountered. (1) I draw a circle and extrude it to form a cylinder. (2) At the
top of the Menu Bar it says "As Material" Problem: I think it means "As Color"
(surface color); it does not mean "As Material" (e.g., ABS plastic) How do I
choose different materials for each of the features I draw for a given
part?
