Hatch by Material - Default

Hi

i have set up my hatches to set specific hatching to specific materials. How or where can set this to happen by default? At the minute, i have to hatch then right click the hatches and select 'By Material' which is getting a little tedious 🙂

i couldnt find anything in hte styles editor...

Thanks

Hi nmjshaw150,

You can do this in your Standard. On the Manage tab, click Styles and Standards tab > Styles Editor button > Expand the Standard node and then click the Material Hatch Pattern Defaults tab.

Depending on how you have set your Projects and Styles Library/Manager. Sounds like you aren't using the Style Manager Library and are only keeping the Styles in each Template. You could save this drawing after you make the changes and use it as a Template or update the changes to your Style Library.

Hi

The Style Library manager confuses me if im absolutely honest. When I go to the tool-

styles.JPG

i am only presented with 2 list boxes. there are no options to set or edit my style library so i do this independently within each environment (Part, Assembly, Drawing) as they all have different options. Unless i am not using the right tool....
