From Inventor2012 to ACAD2000

Hello guys

I have to transfer some Inventor drawings into ACAD2000 and I have tons of problem

What is the best way to do it avoiding proxy objects if that's possible?

I have DTV2014 but when I convert files and open them in ACAD2000 there are proxy objects error messages..

Hi delisle.etienne,

If you use Save Copy As, and then choose the DXF file type, then click the Options button and choose either of these:

AutoCAD 2000/LT2000 DXF

AutoCAD R12/LT 2 DXF

Does that work? I think you could do the same thing with the DWG file type, but the DXF would be most likely to result in no proxies.

If these steps don't work, please take the time to describe the "picks and clicks" you've tried so that others can have a better understanding of the problem that you're seeing, keeping in mind that most users on this forum won't have ACAD 2000 installed any longer, so it will be hard to test for sure.
