Frame Creator Error Message

I have been modifying a frame using the frame creator, adding/deleting members when after using this creator several times in many different sessions I all of a sudden get this message.

Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this message and why it is showing up?

Thanks

Scott

reestablish your CC connection.

Ok, sounds good except I am not sure how you would go about doing that.

I have already shut down my session of Inventor, closed and restarted my session of vault client

and it still happened.

IRC, you're using 2012.

Where is the Content Center hosted from?  Desktop Content or Vault?

Desktop Content for now.  But eventually we want it in the vault.

I'd start by checking what the path is in Application Options > Content Center tab, then go to that location to see if the .idcl  files are actually there.

If you've never modified that path yourself, the default for 2011 is;

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor 2011\Content Center\Libraries

I assume 2011 would be replaced with 2012 in your case - not 100% sure though.

You mentioned occasional crashes in other posts, I'm wondering if Inventor just lost it's path to where your .idcl files are stored.

Currently our CC parts are slowly being stored in the vault.

Now what is weird is while I crashed a couple of times yesterday and I don't remember time sequence if this issue happened before or after the crashes.  Regardless, it is now working fine.  Like it had up to this point.

I seem to get these random error messages and I would love a clear definition as to what is causing them and how and what to look for to solve them and get past them.  All I know is it drives me nutss when these messages come up.  I do something 200 times and the 201st time something like this happens!!!!  Smiley Mad

if your CC is being hosted by Vault, the error msg's you are seeing appear to indicate network connectivity issues.

Could be anything, network card on your pc is going bad, network cable connected to your pc might have gotten kinked or needs to be upgraded to CAT 5 or higher, the router/switch/hub could be going bad, etc.

I'd say that it falls on your local IS or IT dept to take care of that problem.

That makes total sense.  I will contact our IT department and have this checked out.

I will report back and let you know.
