I dont know any way of making a flexible sketch symbol.
say the way hatch can be flexed in autocad.
is that something which can be done in inventor.
Or am I asking too much
Thanks

I don't know what this means.
Can you attach a dwg here that demonstrates what you are trying to replicate in Inventor?
Right click on the sketched symbol and select "Edit Symbol...". In the dialog box that appears, uncheck "Static" and click "OK". When you click on your sketched symbol, yellow glyphs should appear that will allow you to stretch the symbol. The blue glyph will allow you to rotate it.
Hello Jeff,
Thanks for the reply, I knew about static but wanted more control on each vertex.
Say, in a sketched symbol if you create a rectangle and remove the perpendicular and parallel contraints.
Then you get sketch which can fit any quadrilateral.
Please find the Inventor dwg file attached. The static uncheck just gives you control on scalability of the sketched symbol. Please let me know If I am wrong.
Its my bad I should had specifically mentioned about that thing in my previous post.
Thanks
