File does not exist"

Hi All,

I have started a new drawing and commenced laying down a few views.

However, when trying to check it in to Vault i get the attached message!

Can someone advise me why this is happening a how to rectify issue as to date i have been unable to check it in to vault?

I am using Inventor 2010!

Many thanks

Rob

can you open the Supply Drawing. That will help eliminate half the issue if that can be opened. Also can you open the Supply Dwg model?

Did you rename any of the files prior to checking it in ...

Hi M,

I can open the model and check that element in and out with no problems.

I have not renamed or moved any file. I literally started a new dwg, laid a few views down and then went to check it in (you get paranoid of losing work when you've used Inventor 2010 for long enough)

Strange not had issue before and used template before also!.

Cheers

Can you check in those 2 files?

When you open the main iam in these pictures does it prompt you to find the missing file for the IDW?

No it wont let me check in the Inventor dwg because i think the 'supply' folder has an exclimation mark against it.

Not sure where his has come from.

I tried opening template and saving as test.dwg and it checks in ok.

I seem to have a lot of PDF's attached to template however that seem to multiply like rabbits.....see browser.

Not sure what thats about either!

Cheers
