All,
I have been given the task of finding a free file viewer that will view:
dwg, dxf, bmp, jpg, idw, and iam.
It must also be able to print all of the
above fomats.
Can any one point me in the right directions or better yet, hand it to me
on a silver plater!

I agree that that is good way to go but we I was told we are getting a
scanner to save old drawings and put them on cd's in the bmp or jpg formats.
So the boss wants one viewer everyone can use for all formats. (easier said
than done).
I will check the others you suggested.
