File Resolution Dialog

Where can I set a default action for the file resolution dialog which appears when files have been moved?

I have converted many 10s of thousands of solidworks files and assemblies into Inventor using VBA.  I open each assembly and Inventor automatically converts the parts within the assemblies on to the hard drive (My documents > Inventor) despite the project file pointing to a folder on the server to save the files.  As a separate operation all the parts are converted to the folder on the server where the assemblies are converted (and other operations performed on the parts).  Many of the parts are clearly shared by different assemblies.

Now, whenever I open an assembly, I get the file resolution dialog saying that the reference to the file has changed location from the hard drive to the server folder and am I sure I want to use the new file.

I either need Inventor to ignore this and use the file which is in the same directory as the assembly or automatically accept the new resolved file.

The assembly knows where the parts are for the assembly because the project file tells it, and the assembly knows there is are parts for the assembly because it is asking me whether to use them.  All I want is not to be asked!!

This is causing a serious amount of issues when it comes to the Vault autoloader - each assembly has to be opened just to click "ok" confirming I want to use the new file, before it will let me autoload.  Extremly tedious and pointless.

Where can I set the default actions?  Thanks

Hi,

I found an option for 'Replace vis resolution' however the response is greyed out and won't let me set anything.  The only thing I can set is the prompt.

One way around is to click 'don't prompt me again', when the dialog box appears however it won't let me choose 'yes' 😞
