Hi,

I came across a very unusual error while opening an assembly saying "the file name is invalid."

I am unable to open the file which ever way I try.

The file Name is of the nomenclature "123456 - ABCDEF"

Kindly suggest.

What about if you rename the file to 123456_ABCDEF. Would it make any difference?

Possibly try without the space on both sides of the hyphen

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Try renaming to something else (besides what has already been suggested) a little bit more simpler.

Is it possible this is an assy from an older version of Inventor? If so, try migrating it.

Its just not happenig. Tried all the methodsadvised above. Anyways, I have recreated the assembly now. thanks.
