The Feature Identifier Symbol suddenly became disable? What is going on
here???

Sounds like a local problem. Try restarting IV or rebooting your computer.

Chris,
The Feature ID will not be available in an ANSI standard idw template.It
should be active in ISO/DIN/JIS standards idw template.

What is a FEATURE IDENTIFIER SYMBOL? What purposes does it serve?
