Dennis, Yes, disabling NOD32 doesn't remove it's process (ekrn.exe) and ekrn.exe is un-removable within the task manager. If I was to end process, it will start itself back up with a second, and I'm gona be in big trouble if I'm forced to uninstall anti-virus software to install Inventor.
John E, The harddrive is not substituted, compressed or mounted drive, just a 80gb sata2, NTFS format, and one partition.
Kevin, I couldn't find the log file your discribing. The log files I have are:
AcadmInv2009SWLInstall.log (file too big to attach)
AOEMView 2009 Setup.log (file too big to attach)
Autodesk Inventor Professional 2009 Setup.log (posted at top of page)
DWGVIEWRInstall.log (file too big to attach)
Inventor2009Install.log (file too big to attach)
I attempted to manualy install SQL 2005 from DVD2 and after it passed the 13 requirements (or so) it then failed.
MSXML6 = setup failed.
SQL Setup supprot files = setup finished
SQL Native Client = setup finished
SQL VSS Writer = setup finished
