I have looked thru the forum and didn't see this question anywhere. Many times I have to make mounting holes on large assemblies that have a lot of holes to project and extrude.
Is it possible for the Extrude command to pick all Projected Geometry automatically? If it looked only specifically for only projected geometry? It would save so much time instead of having to pick every single projected geometry hole to extrude.
Thanks!

Hi VeronicaSmith5891,
Here is a simple iLogic rule that I use to do this:
http://inventortrenches.blogspot.com/2012/03/ilogic-to-select-all-of-closed-profiles.html
I just set any profiles that I don't want to extrude to use construction lines, so that Inventor won't pick them up.
Here's another good tip for this sort of thing:

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

We project in from the assembly, select all, change to construction lines and centre points, then run the hole tool.
This auto-selects all the centre points and voila! Done. If you need to control the size of the holes you can cross link parameters between the part and assembly.
