Expand parts list in dwg

Hello

I have a drawing detailing an assembly with a 3 sub- assemblies. Each sub-assembly has 4 parts. When I add a parts list only the 3 sub-assemblies are listed. Is there a way to generate a parts list with 12 parts?

Jeff,

If you change the BOM structure for each of the subs to "Phantom", then all the 12 parts will be listed on the parts list.

There are a couple ways to do this.  Either from the BOM of the overall assembly, or from the subassy itself.

From the BOm of the overall assy, go to the Bill of Materials on the Assembly>Manage panel.  In the BOM structure column change each sub to "Phantom".

Open the sub, Tools > Document Settings, Bill of Materials panel change the Default BOM structure to "Phantom".
