Can you explain to me how are we suppose to do a simple rotation arround the y axis ( like a mirror of the sketch ). I think that I have pick every single line in my ipt but inventor can't show me what I want.

Thank you

Before you pick every line in your IPT, (or the origin axes in the origin
folder-hint) click on the redX or greenY of the coordinate icon on the
screen.

If you want to move the coord system click on the Blue center of the icon
before picking every single point/endpoint in the IPT.

Yes yes that I understod but did you ever do change the orientation ( positive to negative) of the x axis for exemple without changing the orientation of the y axis.

No; all sketches have a "normal" Z which can't be manipulated.... and why?

If you really need to have an inverted Z, pull a zero offset workplane off
the surface and place the sketch on the Workplane. Select the workplane (you
can select it from within the edit sketch enviroment), right click and
choose "Flip Normal" from the context menu.

And before anybody tries(I tried it), pull/drag creation of a sketch with a
0 offset won't create the WorkPlane, so there will be no entity to do the
Flip Normal operation on

There is an option for Flip Axis if you Right Click after selecting the
axis.

Yes I already know that there were a flip axis option but wend you this both axis will go from positive to negative, in my case I just wanted to flip one axis. Also you said: "if you right click after selecting the axis" are you sure, because inventor never give me the chance to flip an axis after selecting it, I have to pick a line after picking the axis.

I've been trying to figure that out for almost a year now.  I'd searched before, but never found this!

THANK YOU!

It's really quite annoying that I could not flip the Z-Axis while trying to use the "edit coordinate" option on the sketch as I have while using other software (Solidworks, Catia...).

At least now I found the answer!
