In my class were using Inventor 2012 and we're wanting to start into dynamic simulation, but it's been about five years since my professor has actually used Inventor and I was wondering if someone would be able to help us start up on this. Also some of us thought we got it but didn't and we have a "dynamic simulation" started and don't know how to delete it.

An assembly file (*.iam) is useless without part files (*.ipt).

Go through the Help>Learning Tools>Tutorials and Skillbuilders.

There is also an entire curriculum at with many tutorials on DS.

More here

and search on Wasim Younis book.

Attach your part files here.

I have a number of unpublished examples if you have your professor contact me
