Driving Part Numbers from Parent Assemblies

Would it be possible to have parts and subassemblies generate their part numbers through ilogic by referencing the parent assembly's file name or part number?

The workflow that I am trying to establish involves creating an assembly that is populated by subassemblies which are placed as iLogic components.  The file names are assigned a "-01", "-02" and so on dependent on the number of different configurations of the subassembly that are placed.  I need the subassemblies and the parts that make them up to have unique part numbers that are associated with the assembly that they are placed in.

For example, the assembly would be:

Assembly123.iam

Subassemblies placed as ilogic components would need part numbers like:

Subassembly-01_123

Subassembly-02_123

Parts in the subassembly would need part numbers like:

Part-01_123

Part-03_123, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Caleb
