Display adaptor setting

Can someone tell me what is the best adaptor setting for the Radeon mobility
7500.
Specially Open-GL and Direct-3D. Each group has a setting for
Anti-Aliasing,Anisotropic filtration and dithering.

My Inventor card setting is optimization setting recommended by AutoDesk.
Running XP Pro.

I'll start by saying I do NOT have a Radeon, but I can tell you that
anything you set in Direct3D area won't have any effect on Inventor, since
it doesn't use Direct3D. I would have to assume that turning on
anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtration, and dithering would tend to slow down
Inventor, as these "quality enhancers" require additional processing, either
on the video card itself or on the CPU.

I found that messing around in here caused me problems on a Mobility 7500. Keep everything set to
maximum or you will end up with your background displaying in 256 colors (Yeuch) and wierd
reflections.

The only tweaks that I would recommend are in the registry for setting Min Full LOD Frame Rate to 7
frames per second, and knocking your Min Gift Wrap Tolerance up to about 0.1 (for assemblies over
500 parts).

Inventor uses OpenGL. If you are looking for highest performance (and you
should be with a Radeon card) you want to Disable Anti-Aliasing, Anisotripic
filtration. Those two are for making your drawing look "pretty" and
sacrificing performance. I would recommend the next laptop you get has an
Nvidia chip in it, like the Mobile Quadro. The Radeon cards have worse
drivers and poor performance in comparision.
