Darn Bolt Circle Diameters

I have always had trouble with bolt circles (PCD whatever you want to call
them) the only way I have found to create the centerline without manually
creating a sketch is to use the centered pattern feature of the center line
tool. but it seems to have some issues eg:

It won't create the full circle, ie: then is a gap between the last 2 holes
selected (not sucha huge deal)
And also after it has been created I cant seem to dimension the (edited)
diameter of the thing which is a huge PITA.

Is there another way?

Hmm. I can dim the diam. However you are right, it's not 360deg. You can
however grab the end and drag it around to make it a full circle.

I start the dim click the circle/cent line and expect a radius/diam dim but
here I get nothing? anyone else?

LOL, works ok when I zoom in but not when I'm zoomed out. Well thats one
really big annoyance off my IDW list. Thanks guys.
