DWG Scale 1:200

Hi,

I have drawn a big factory in Inventor. Now I want to get it in to a 2D Drawing (.dwg). But there is no small enough scale. I need a scale of 1:200. How can I do that?

Hi

It's simple you just overwrite it; double clic on view and just write your needed scale

Can you tell me where I can find this drawing view please? I’ve been trying to scale my drawing at 1:200 for hours and everything I’ve tried off the internet isn’t letting me do it

Silly question, but...

Are you trying to edit the view scale of a drawing (idw or Inventor dwg) file?

You should be able to right click on the view, select edit, and change your view scale.

I’m trying to edit a floor plan I made in sketchup that I exported into a dwg and put into CAD. I can see the options to use the scale 1:100 but it doesn’t fit on my A2 paper

Hi! The discussion is about Inventor drawing view. If you are using a different product, the discussion may not apply to you. For regular drawing view associative to a model, you can edit the view and change the scale in the dialog. For draft views (sketch-based views), you simply double-click the view -> change the scale.

Please feel free to share an example if you still have trouble figuring it out.

Many thanks!
