DEFAULT SYMBOL IN EDIT DIMENSION TEXT DIALOG

LOOKING FOR A WAY TO MAKE THE DIAMETER SYMBOL THE DEFAULT SYMBOL INSTEAD OF THE DEGREE SYMBOL IN THE SYMBOL DROP DOWN ON THIS DIALOG BOX:

DIMENSION EDIT>TEXT TAB

Hi,

You are not able to change the default symbol in the Edit Dimension dialog.
However you can create a new dimension style with the diameter symbol as a
prefix.

Please CHANGE that!!! The need of DIA symbol is greater than DEG symbol. THINK!

Sound really good.

 

An additional proposal is to have the dimeter, the degree and the +/- symbol as shortcut buttons just under the button that opens the symbol list. This way it is easy and quick to choose the three most used symbols applied in the text.

screenshot from Inv 2011, looks like your request is already present, at least those three symbols are at the very top of the selections.  May not be exactly what you wanted though I'll admit that.
