Cutting a sketched line or profile

Hi

New to Inventor

We draw a lot of very similar. I can copy the sketch profiles no
problem. However some of these parts are the original profile with bits
cut off. How do I cut lines that are part of a profile into two lines.
Like Autocad Break command.

Regards

Ian

Ian,

I normally will use a construction line that is co-linear with the original
line. You can make these lines equal length and you then have a midpoint
etc.

Cheers,
