Custom Material Properties (Shear Modulus in particular) Error in 2014

We just noticed that custom materials we had created in 2011 now have a huge error in the Shear Modulus property.  It seems like it happened when we upgraded to 2014.  The shear modulas for G40.21-44W for example is now 1.450E-03 psi which is wrong.

Has anyone else run into this?

I found this thread on the subject: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Inventor-General/FEA-material-styles-Shear-Modulus/td-p/3389759

It seems Shear Modulus is (or was) a calculated value (G= E/2(1+nu)).  Not sure why there is an input for it in 2014 but the value should be 2.042E+07 (as far as I can tell) which is a long way from the 1.450E-03 currently in the material.  We tried updating our template but it defaults back to this value.  Not sure where that number is coming from or how to correct it.

Is this value used in FEA simulation?  I tried a couple very simple sims manually changing it but can't see any difference in the ones I tested.

Does anyone know if this is a bug, user error on my part, or does it matter?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.  Thanks!
